Task

 

 

After researching various map information, you and two partners will produce a neat, colorful map of one classroom in our school that will include:

 

q       Lines of latitude and longitude drawn in pencil (after all, they are imaginary) and clearly marked with the degree and direction.

q       The compass rose and the four cardinal directions.

q       A key that indicates important pieces of furniture in the room. Each piece of furniture should have its own symbol to represent it.

q       You map should depict exactly where each piece of furniture is found in the classroom.

q       Note cards with thoughtful questions about your map and the answers on the back.

 

Once you are finished, another pair of students will be answering your questions and guessing which classroom you have designed.
