Book Review - Oral Presentation


The oral presentation of the book review counts as 45% of the total grade. It must be a coordinated effort among all the class members who read the book and must contain the following parts:

• a synopsis of the contents of the book
  
• a visual (PowerPoint presentation, slides, video, etc.) which is integrated into (but not the only component of) the presentation
  
• An explanation of how this book complements and integrates itself into the AP European History course
  
• Written handouts for the rest of the class.
  
• A ten question multiple choice quiz to be given (open note) at the end of the presentation.

These parts should be divided among the group members. Approximately two weeks before the presentation is due, the group should meet with the teacher and discuss the roles and what is expected from each, and to get answers for any questions the group might have.
