Every student is to send one RELEVANT posting to the email list each week. A week is defined from Sunday, midnight through Saturday, midnight. Remember, email is date and time stamped so there is no room for argument.

These postings may be EITHER:

1. a question raised by the readings or class discussions
2. a response to a questions on comment made by another class member

Responses should never attack a person, but attacks on ideas are fine. For example:

• Acceptable Response:
  • "I disagree with you entirely. Karl Marx would never accept accommodation with the bourgeois class."
• Unacceptable Response:
  • "I would expect such a stupid response from you."

If you are replying to a post, make sure you have the proper subject.

To reply to a post with the subject "Karl Marx was wrong" you should put "RE: Karl Marx was wrong" as the subject of your message (usually pushing the "REPLY" button on your email program will work.)
